30 Days To Splits Program

I created this program to help you deepen your splits by teaching you some effective stretches and proper alignment. Achieving your full splits within the 30 days will depend on your starting point, but you can always redo this program as many times as needed. This program is also a great way to slowly get used to moving and practicing daily. I highly encourage you to take daily progress pictures and videos to see how much you're actually improving. It's always an amazing feeling to look back at your progress! TIPS:

1- BREATH: 

Breathing is an important part of yoga and stretching. The more oxygen that gets to the muscle, the easier the stretch or asana will feel. Make sure to take deep inhalations & exhalations. Use each inhale to find more length and exhale to find more depth. Deep breaths also enable your mind and body to relax.

2- LISTEN TO YOUR BODY:

Everyone's body is different and I know that when I say "listen to your body", it can seem quite overwhelming at first because there are so many new sensations that arises but I believe it's truly key to any progress. If you feel like you can push yourself and go deeper in a stretch then please feel free to do so but you should never feel any type of pain. You know the difference between discomfort and pain, if you feel any sort of pain at any time I would recommend for you to try modifying with props and/or skipping that particular stretch all together for now. Listening to your body also means if you feel like you need to hold a pose for longer then do it. Same idea if you feel like the holds are too long, try doing max holds and building up. 

3- LET GO:

PRACTICE WITHOUT ANY ATTACHMENT TO THE END RESULTS. You can have goals but do not be attached to any results. Try not to compare your journey with others. You're doing this for you and understanding this will enable you to connect more with your body & progress faster.
